Authoring Mixed Arabic and English Documents Today
- Type Arabic in normal logical Unicode order; never reverse letters manually.
- Set Arabic paragraphs to right-to-left and English paragraphs to left-to-right. Choose alignment separately and inspect mixed text.
- Use right-to-left table or section controls when the first column should begin on the right. Save a DOCX copy, reopen it and inspect the result.
- Check the final PDF. PDF export is supported, but PDF/A compliance and complete RTL interchange are not established.
