Alpha status (14 October 2026): XiWrite is planned and its public installer is not verified. This page describes the checked WordCraft foundation; XiKey integration is still in progress. Alpha is free today.
Workspace Layout
The checked WordCraft workspace uses a Ribbon, document canvas and panels.
- Home: font and paragraph formatting, lists and styles.
- Insert, Design and Layout: tables, pictures, shapes, page size, margins, sections, themes and watermarks.
- References and Mailings: contents, footnotes, citations, captions and mail merge. Recipient lists are supported; email merge is absent.
- Review: comments, tracked changes, document comparison and editing restrictions. Arabic proofing is not verified.
- View, navigation and status: view modes, rulers, zoom, heading navigation and document counts.
Check complex imported objects and final pagination.
Document View Modes
The checked foundation offers Print Layout, Draft, Read Mode and Web Layout, with navigation and zoom controls. Use Print Layout to review page breaks, headers, footers and positioned objects. The result can differ from Word pagination.
Command Search ("Tell Me")
Press Alt+Q to focus command search. Search by the displayed action name; available actions depend on the current selection.
Switching Language (English ⇄ العربية)
The XiKey Arabic interface and one-click English ⇄ العربية switch are in progress for XiWrite. The checked WordCraft interface has no Arabic localization. Document paragraph, table and section direction are separate upstream controls; they do not establish a mirrored Arabic workspace.
