OCR and Office conversion Source 1 ↗Source 2 ↗	Upstream OCR is limited to unaccented Latin; Office import is absent and Office export fidelity is partial. Arabic OCR is not promised.	Acrobat Pro turns scans into editable PDFs and exports to Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Hosted review, signature collection and response tracking are more complete in Acrobat; equivalent XiKey services are not verified (https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/share-and-review-documents/share-documents/share-pdfs.html; https://helpx.adobe.com/acrobat/desktop/get-started/learn-the-basics/overview.html, checked 2026-10-14).
Acrobat is stronger for scan-to-edit and Office interchange; upstream OCR language coverage and conversion fidelity are explicit limits (/products/xipdf/#open-source-components; https://www.adobe.com/acrobat/plans.html, checked 2026-10-14).
