Interface Overview

These instructions describe the checked LightCraft foundation as of 14 October 2026. XiLight Alpha is free; public installer availability and XiKey integration are not yet verified.

Workspace views and panels

The checked workspace has a photo library and detail editing view, a filmstrip and side panels. Seven complete Lightroom Classic modules are not established.

1. Library: Browse folders and albums, then use Grid (G), Detail (D), Compare (Shift+C) or Survey (N).
2. Editing: Edit (E) provides Light, Color, Effects, Detail and Optics; inspect camera and lens profile coverage.
3. Crop and masks: Crop & Rotate (C); Masking (M); Brush (B), Linear Gradient (L), Radial Gradient (R), White Balance Selector (W).
4. Organisation: Keywords (K), Info (I), Presets (Shift+P) and Versions (Shift+V). F6 toggles the Filmstrip.
5. Output: Export developed photos or a contact-sheet PDF. Complete Map, Book and Web publishing modules are not confirmed.

Switching Interface Language (English ⇄ العربية)

Arabic interface integration and one-click English ⇄ العربية switching are in progress for XiLight.
