Interface Overview
Alpha status (14 October 2026): XiCAD is planned and its public installer is not verified. This page describes the checked CADCraft foundation; XiKey integration is still in progress. Alpha is free today.
Main Areas of the Window
The checked CADCraft workspace supports 2D drafting.
- Menus, toolbars and file tabs: drawing, dimension, modification, layer and file actions.
- Drafting tools: lines, polylines, circles, hatches, dimensions and reusable static blocks. 3D modeling is absent.
- Drawing viewport: selection, grips, snapping and dynamic input.
- Command line and history: enter drawing commands or aliases, complete names and repeat the last command.
- Panels and status bar: layers, object properties, blocks, parameters and drafting toggles; model-space and paper-space layouts.

Switching Interface Language (English ⇄ العربية)
The upstream Edit › Interface Language menu includes an Arabic preference. XiKey Arabic interface integration and the one-click English ⇄ العربية switch are in progress. A mirrored Arabic workspace is not established. See Arabic annotations.
